I couldn’t believe in western country kids are suffering from head lice, which suppose they are very clean. It is ridiculously!
Hi Sophie
Thanks for your feedback. There are lots of myths surrounding head lice. One of them is that a head lice infestation is a sign of poor personal hygiene, that they prefer dirty hair. The fact is that a head lice infestation is not a sign of poor hygiene and is nothing for your child to feel embarrassed about. They don’t discriminate and don’t care if hair was washed this morning or last week. For more head lice myths please go to our Myths post in the above menu.
That is because cleanliness has nothing to do with getting lice. In fact, they prefer clean hair but aren’t fussy either.
Hi, I am V.S or you can call me Vianty. I am one of the winner from NSW. When Julie send me email that I won the competiton I feel happy an delighted. The prize come very quick. With summer just around the corner this prize is just great. You know, toddlers love to play dirty things when we are going outdoor. They’d love to play mad on sands at the beach, play muddy and other dirty things. Moov head lice defence spray is a great product to be used for kids coz its not to be used for treatment but it also works as defence, as a pre caution. We dont have to wait until they catch the lice somewhere else. It’s a peace of mind to know they well protected against those creepy itchy lice.
The spray very easy to apply and protect up to 8 hours. fragance free, low irritant and proven effective.. So those who dont have the product and they have active toddlers this summer, they better hurry to supermarket and grab one
Thanks for your feedback Vianty. I’m glad you are enjoying using our product. Rest assured your toddlers won’t catch head lice from playing in the sand or mud, no matter how dirty or muddy they get! Head lice cannot fly or jump; they can spread via head-to-head contact or sharing hats and brushes that have come in contact with an infestation. They won’t last long away from the human scalp. Read some of the posts in ‘Understanding Head Lice’ in the above menu to find out more about head lice.
MOOV Head Lice products are available in pharmacies and Priceline nationally, not supermarkets.
I am one of the NSW winners, thank you so much for the Defence Spray you sent me! I have heard so many tips from other mums and I have tried them all, but this Defence Spray is the best! There is nothing worse than hours of combing long hair and pulling out the disgusting nits and eggs, so having this product work is fantastic! Thanks so much!
Thanks for your feedback Suzanne. My 4yo has hip length hair so I can relate to the long hair! I use Defence Spray in her hair regularly. Happy to say no head lice to date….and she’s at childcare 5 days a week. Another good trick is to always have long hair tied back (I do plaits because of its length) so there is no loose hair flying around.
Hi there, i was a winner of some of the lice prevention spray, it’s fantastic. It’s meant to have been going around my sons kindy but he hasn’t picked it up at all! Will definately be spraying this on every day he’s off to kindy! THANKYOU!!
Hi,
I was a winner of one of the lice prevention sprays. And I have to say so far its been fantastic. My little girl has long thick curly hair and headlice has been going around at her daycare and (fingers crossed) she has not gotten it yet. Plus as she suffers from ezcema and had very sensitive skin was a little cautious of using it, however there have been no signs of any allergic reaction! This product is fantastic and have recommended it to my friends/family too. Thank you very much
